To build strong healthcare and business relationships that facilitate and promote growth opportunities, advance cost effective solutions, and provide technological advancement in order to enhance our members’ and customers’ goals of quality service, patient care, and community support.

Hospital Network, Inc. (HNI):
HNI was established in January 1986 by the following organizations: Bronson Healthcare Group, Bronson Methodist Hospital, Bronson Vicksburg Hospital, Allegan General Hospital, Sturgis Hospital, Oaklawn Hospital (Marshall, MI) and Pennock Hospital (Hastings, MI). The purpose of HNI was to provide shared services to its members and others. These services included electronic billing, marketing, planning, capital equipment purchases, imaging services, and other services to assist the health care organizations with their missions.

Hospital Network Healthcare Services (HNHS):

On October 17, 2002, 15 Michigan hospitals with 18 campuses signed an operating agreement forming Hospital Network Healthcare Services, LLC.

HNHS was formed to capitalize on the networking success of HNI by providing a larger base of participating hospitals to reduce costs, increase technology, share services and improve overall healthcare to our communities.

As a result, HNHS offers such services as the management of Regulated Medical Waste, PACS Archiving, Disaster Recovery, Electronic Document Management, and recruitment assistance in the healthcare field.

Alliance-HNI Health Care Services:
Alliance-HNI Health Care Services has a solid past of providing quality shared diagnostic imaging services throughout the state of Michigan. It all began in 1986 when two organizations, Medical Consultants Imaging Co. and Hospital Network, Inc., joined forces, became known as MCIC-HNI and began to provide Southwest Michigan small and rural hospitals with Mobile CT. From that day forward, it has grown to be one of Michigan’s largest providers of shared diagnostic services.

In November of 1997, MCICo was purchased by Alliance Imaging, Inc., an Anaheim, California based company. Alliance provides MRI, CT, and Mobile PET services on a shared mobile, interim, and full-time basis. After this acquisition, MCIC-HNI began doing business as Alliance-HNI Health Care Services.

Alliance-HNI serves many Michigan healthcare organizations by providing CT, MRI, PET/CT and Asset Management of the organization’s equipment.
